The Miracle on Roosevelt

HDO Productions to provide a garden dedication tent for the Archdiocese of Chicago at historic Holy Family Church.

According to legend, when the Chicago Fire started in 1871, it was headed toward Holy Family Church. The church's pastor Father Damen, invoked Our Lady of Perpetual Help to save the building. The father promised to light seven candles before Our Lady's statue if the church was spared from the fire. The wind shifted, Holy Family Church was spared, and the candles were lit. To this day seven electric lights burn at Our Lady's shrine in the east transept of the church. In the summer of 1990, Our Lady of Perpetual Help was called upon once again to help save the church. With her help in a single day over a million dollars was raised and the church was saved from the wrecking ball.

Wiss Janney Elstner

The tents are going up at Wiss Janney Elstner.  It's usually HDO giving WJE the engineering work.  It's amazing the amount of engineering that goes into a tent.  Now WJE gets to experience the engineering first hand in an 80'x160' New Century tent.  This job sets the new record for the closest install to HDO's warehouse.  It's a matter of feet.
